Since islands have been mentioned: Does that little island shown off the south-west coast of the Isle of Despair on the world map have a name?

It has no name on map, no locations and isn't mentioned in the game, so I think it has name only in Troika plans. Anyway, it seems to be a special colony for special men who are too dangerous to be put on I of D itself.

I mean men who would be able to repeat all that was made by Whitechurch demon. At least. Repeating of Gorgoth deeds (two hobbit villages eaten) is surely more preferable to be placed there.

We discussed this a while back, I ended up with two possible answers to what it is:

    1. It is DE's nation of Svitjot
    2. It is Peter Quincy's weapons testing range.

floyd, you don't have 'The Unknown Location' its either 1W, 1S or 0W, 0S. You only spawn at it in corrupted save games.

I don't think that location is actually part of the main map. If you load a corrupt game in a mod (which doesn't use the Arcanum maps) you still get sent to see the naked men.

The most funny that if there would be a bug in the beginning (when you buy items), then there would be two men and a chest with all those stuff in location far far away the main map.

Tell me more about this unknown location. It was on TONGSyaBASS's list as well, but I've never been there. Any way to trigger it in an uncorrupted game? And what do you get to see there? A naked man? What's that all about?

I've never been there (down on the ground), but in one game I was somehow sent there on the world map, and then I crashed. *boo-hoo*

It relates to the equipment buying at the start of the game. The naked man is the "merchant" who sells the items to you. He has a chest next to him which contains his inventory.

I think I read that somewhere a long time ago. I'm not 100% sure though. If not, then call it an educated guess.

You can see it in the topmost right corner of the map. Just look closely and you'll see it's there.

I checked the shop map out a couple of days ago and the chest is set for
the game start inventory. The naked man and the chest is all that's there.
