Extracting Arcanum animations

Hi, I'm new here and I'd like to make some changes to animations in Arcanum, is there a way to extract them to some editable format like GIF? If so, which programs should I use for that. Thank you in advance

You should use ArtView (a fixed version also exists). It allows you to extract one or all image of an .art file.

Just one more question... it might be foolish, but I can't find .art files anywhere in game directory. I have GOG version.

 

You must undat Arcanum.dat first, using dbmaker for example.
I'm not ultra-familiar with this forum but you should easily find a topic about undating
