So are you still interested in merging?

 

Well, the GC is a highly respected alliance...

 

In theory, anyone could join. In practice, we've enrolled those we personally approve of.

 

A merger would give us a boost in numbers which means more troops should something go wrong, the deal would also bring us a couple more nukes.

But aside from that it enables us to take advantage of the GC's reputation because (at least initally) we'll be seen as the GC with treaties so it'll be easier to gather allies.

 

Largely because we wanted trade bonuses and the right to use nukes whenever we pleased?

The Grey Council is all about Grey. We wouldn't really be a Grey Council if we allowed other colours, which pretty much negates all that Grey crap. We also don't necessarily want to be neutral, which kind of messes that up. I also quite like my title. What would any proposed merger look like?

I don't see a merger happening though. It'd mean the 20 or so people currently in the GC wanting to join us and I don't see why they would. Because if they would, they would've done it by now.

 

Its more a crushing the opposition type thing.

Probably, but it wouldn't have the integrity of the GC, 'cause we'd have that.
