He discovered while eating a beansprout
That they were solid, what's that about
    Sagely thought Smuel
    I've been such a fool
    Solid beansprouts, that's far out.

    Good morning.

Speaking of ridiculous preconceptions, I only learnt that people have four tear ducts the other day, ending in small holes in your top and bottom eyelids (if I'm not the only moron who didn't realise this, you can literally see them - go have a look!). I always thought the pink thing in the corner of your eye was the duct and directly secreted the tears, rather than looping them through pipes (the actual ducts) to holes in your eyelids.

It's always disconcerting to find your body has more holes in it than you first thought. Good morning.

You mean some beansprouts are actually hollow? Maybe I had the hollow ones when I was younger, and that's what I based my concept of beansprouts on. Which type are they?

    Good morning.

Though I mentioned trypophobia (for anyone who doesn't know, a fear of patterned holes more or less) a few pages ago, I can safely say it's a thing I would have been better off not ever knowing about, though I think I'm mostly over my disgust of it now.

When I looked into it at that time, I learnt it's not so much a fear as instinctual reaction of disgust and revulsion due to such patterns resembling disease, so much so that there's cases in the literature of the prolonged viewing of images causing full blown panic attacks. In addition, because it's such an innate hardwired response to avoiding sickness, it's not something that you can easily train yourself out of through exposure like a normal phobia.

Something to view if you're feeling particularly masochistic I guess.

    Good morning.

I just skipped like 4 pages of "good morning"-ing. I hope I did miss anything.

    Good morning.

Don't worry, you certainly didn't not miss anything that wasn't unimportant.

    Good morning.

I may have mentioned the feral kitten which joined me on an odyssey some years ago.

Well, long story short, it was almost exactly like Life of Pi, and he just walked off one day.

Anyway, two years later I have found him again, and the people at the animal shelter say he's the angriest cat they've ever seen.

So proud. But also not at all equipped to adopt him again. Sadly, I don't think anyone else could and definitely wouldn't, so I must.

    Good morning.

p.s, to clarify, I think 'angry' must mean violent because he doesn't hiss or growl or even put his ears back, he just attacks. I'm sure they've seen angrier cats, but not one so vicious.

further, I'm proud because I was able to endure and half domesticate such a monster, not that he was never socialised.

I've never had a pet cat, nor do I know much about them, but I feel confident enough to assert from the other side of the world about a cat I've never seen and contrary to the judgement of professional animal shelterers that the cat is just playing.

    Good morning.

    Ha.

Knowing him as I do I know he's just extracting respect/blood according to an exact formula for revenge.

    Good morning.

I asked my cat if your cat was full of shit. He looked at me, sort of "huffed" a bit, then walked away.

I don't know how to interpret that either.

    Good morning.

My cat just pissed on one of my shoes. I blame Philes.

    Good evening.

It's Poes Law that makes me question whether even this is a joke, isn't it?

There's no doubt that Trump is going to forever change the meaning of the word, trump.

He's certainly stranger than fiction. History may remember him as the one who overturned Poe's and Godwin's.

Trump's Law: sufficiently outrageous behaviour stuns people into not reacting for long enough to do something else outrageous.

It's like the way Wile. E. Coyote keeps on walking over thin air. He seems to be composed entirely of chutzpah.

    Good morning.
