ToEE game engine similar?

    Was this game based on a different engine than Arcanum?
    If so, does it still have a turn-based feature?

    Hope I'm not gravedigging by bringing up a new topic in this forum, but I don't wanna go anywhere else. I like the community here.

    I think it was made with a heavily modified version of the Arcanum engine. If you like turn-based combat, you'll probably love this game. Sadly it doesn't have very much dialogue but it is a great game anyway.

    It is built on the Arcanum engine, albeit heavily modified. It's also got the best turn-based combat you'll ever find. Hadn't the module been so weak in the story/dialogue department, you'd probably have the greatest RPG of all time. Still, it's one hell of a dungeon crawl, if that's your cup of tea.
