I'm sorry, I know this is old news but House of Lords looked like a good place to vent off. If you're still playing Bloodlines, as a loyal Troika fan, you should be somehow familiar with the two "unofficial patchers" and the bad blood between them.

One of them is Wesp, who often releases new versions of his patches, and changing stuff to his liking. He gets criticized for changing Troika's original intentions. After every version of his patch, he posts a thread in planet vampire (also gamefaqs Bloodlines forum and probably several other places)

The other patcher is Tessera, who detests Wesp for no appearant reason other than what I mentioned above (changing Troika's original intentions to his liking with his patches).

While I don't know either of the patchers, Tess appears to be a hopeless sexomaniac. In addition to contributing to the true patch and hosting it in his site, he also designs custom nude models for Bloodlines and some other games, the most famous one being a Malkavian model with watermelon-sized boobs.

Wesp has understood that some people don't like being forced to have sex with werewolves, so he's used his superior modding skills to make a BASIC PATCH with every newer version of his patch. The BASIC PATHC is basically the "true patch", but improved. They are the ones you want to download (unless you like the idea of being raped by that old bearded vampire who helps you in the beginning every time you talk to him). If you don't want any changes from the last 11 moths, and don't want an incredible amount of unavoidable sex, the "true patch" is the way to go.
