    I maintain that the summer of 2003 was the golden age of this forum. There was the political debates between Sleek_Jeek and Sigurd, the scientific arguments between Ferret and Chalupa Cobra, whilst Retard, Sigurd and MatahChuah were staunchly defending Creationism against sanity and logic. Good times.

    Hey there Xiao! Nice to see you around again :D
    Good too find other Pern fans around the boards too... I was given the Harper Hall trilogy some years ago, and got hooked (though since it's not easy to find the books here I have only read a few others).

    I'm not surprised to see people google nasty stuff after being told about it - the first time I saw goatse and tubgirl was after a thread here was derailed into being about shock sites, and people would say "There's this picture that's really horrible" and a lot of us innocently clicked on the link to see what they were talking about. Fun times.

    And DE, the Ferret-CC debates were awesome to watch - I still remember her trying to defend that weird theory she had about the universe.
