Yes, I know it's a video, but it's a good introduction to a great comic. Rest of the comic at www.axecop.com . Also, credits to Wolfsbane since he found it.

The trouble is, you tell this lie out loud and so damned often that some of us more gullible types hear it growing up and work hard to become nice men.
Well, from all the nice men in the world, Lacy, fuck you very much.

That monster looks like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, in all his glory.

He obviously is fake though, with causing a war inadvertantly and you know, being made of green stuff instead of pasta.

Woe to all who misunderstand his message and declare war instead of trying to enjoy a beer volcano and a stripper factory.

The inspiration is clearly drawn from the Watchmen comic, heathen.

Hey, don't call Mesteut a heathen. As a Turk, he has to live with that label everyday. > : (

Shush, infidels. Allah's will be done. =p

By the way, your point is moot, DE. It is well known the FSM inspires everything good/awesome, including the Watchmen graphic novel. Thus, even if what you say is true, it originates from FSM touching the author with his noodly appendage.

Ramen.

Ah, I see the light now. All is for the best in the best of all possible worlds. FSM has achieved the perfect balance, even giving us Twilight that we can better appreciate the delicate intricacies of finer art!

So, all hail FSM! As long as it ends with candied citron and pistachios...

Muro, that's the best laugh I've had in months.

Author's comment: People don’t realize that the three most dreaded words to a guy are actually “notice anything different?”

Don't forget to check out the rest of Optipess, especially if you enjoyed reading The Perry Bible Fellowship.

I also wholeheartedly recommend anything made by Jonathan Wojcik a.k.a. Scythemantis, be it comics, animations or articles.
If you liked the above strip and generally enjoy abstract and/or dark humour and/or nightmare fuel drawings, the address
under the comic is where you should go to waste some time.

Thank you, Muro. Added bogleech.com to my list of readable web comics.

It's strange...I find it disgusting, but it doesn't make me sick. It must be the humor.

Having read Axe Cop in one sitting, my brain has turned to mush, all notions of reality are warped... That was a Secret Attack that took a jillion lives. Awesome.

I've been reading through a fairly entertaining comic called Buttersafe lately and thought it might be worth recommending.
To give you the overall feel of the type of humour within, here are some of my favourite strips so far:

nsfw-comix.com - sometimes amusing and/or well drawn (Manly Man is awesomely done), sometimes lame and/or longish*, quite obviously not safe for work in most cases. Browse at your own peril. Saying they are the creators of the Ultimate Orgy of Homosexulity should be a hint as to what type and level of humour and artwork to expect.

* Though occasionally there are some jewels among the longish ones too, for example this one. Oh granny.
