First of all, greetings everybody.
I'm about to mod all the guns to fit my taste (i.e. turning them into exaggeratedly overpowered doomsday machines). Now, some protos are not really located where they should according to discritpion.mes. Most important of all I'm unable to access Schreck's Multi Barreled's proto (using Drog Black Tooth's Unofficial Arcanum Patch). In the Forum somewhere Drog says how he reintroduced the gun into the game and changed its stats. How so? Where is the proto or whatever data that is behind Schreck's gun?
For your help concerning my predicament I shall herewith express my sincere thanks in advance.
I must take my leave

All new/fixed prototypes in the UAP are stored in Arcanum5/6 .dat files. _________________ Is Dragon Age better than Arcanum? Good god, are you joking, of course, it is! |

My gratitude for the swift answer. I put it to the proof and it worked just fine ! I unDATed the protos and copied the modded Schreck one into the primary proto folder. Dunno why it worked though, I thought I'd have to reDAT the whole thing !
Thanks again, Master Drog

This gun seems pretty weak to me
Low damage, high ammo consumption, high attack rate or did I overlooked anything? |

After the problem is before the problem ...
I just laid my hands on the Tesla Rod in order to increase it's electrical damage. However, even though the actually dealt damage changed in analogy to my tinkering in the proto file the ingame description still states the original damage range of 10 - 40 ED (took me a while to recognize that the change actually occured).
Now I wonder what could be done about this matter of delicacy? |
