Hello y'guys.
My name's Schism, I make music, which I promote online - when I'm not playing Arcanum. I've had it for about 6 years now and it's provided a rich world for me to explore the whole time.
I've always wanted to get into modding, ever since I first saw the World Editors that usually accompany Blizzard games.
Alas, though I have the storytelling bit down, I could never figure out coding and mapping and so many other of the little things that modding consists of.
However, I can do another kind of modding fairly well - sampling.
That said, I made this short piece in honor of the game we love, as a sort of indroduction thing.
Enjoy :)

A nice tune, even addictive in a way, but for a tribute to Arcanum it doesn't sound very Arcanumish. I can't imagine it fitting in the game, unless one would consider creating a cyberpunk mod, if that would even make sense.

It does of course have some sound samples borrowed directly from the game, but then again, so does this.

Not that bad. It's no classical remix, but for tech/synth it's got a nice beat and re-uses the bar ambiance in a creative way. Nice job, very nice job.

I must be doing it wrong. Clicking the link dumps me at the soudclick homepage. Has the song since been moved?

It doesn't work for some people, according to the author. I posted a reply and stated the link didn't work and he sent me an email with the song.

Use my link for it instead:

Leave it to the Scientists to solve our problem. Even the runaway ones. :)
Thanks, medic.

Hey Scheezy, would you be interested in making custom music for me? As in, new music. Classical, as the original theme is, but utilizing a mix or whatever it is that you use to make your music. I wouldn't mind tech/classical, but one should stick to the original theme.

Specifically, maybe some remixes of the current tracks, or a new one if you're interested. You can probably find some loops and things you can use from LooperMan, which is a DL site for Sony Acid, but most formats are in .mp3 so they can essentially be accessed by any program.
