Soo yea. Just noticed. GeneraI Discussioη. Pretty sure it's supposed to be General Discussion.

Yes, it supposed to be General Discussion, but it has been changed by a fucking hacker. For I can see is this the only thing that has been altered. Or are there more things that has been changed? I hope that the mods and/or admistrator will fixed this again.

If I remember correctly were Xz or DU the ones who knew alot about scripting the php, but I am not sure about this.

Are you sure it was someone that hacked the forum?

Cause it's as likley that one of the admins are screwing around going "I wonder how long it will take before anyone notice". Wouldn't surprise me.

Perhaps the mods or the admins could tell us if it was a bit of fun by them, or a bloody hacker did this to the site. *hacking the hacker in small pieces*

I'm pretty sure it was changed as we had a bot here the other day targeting forums labeled with 'Discussion'. These bots are keyword-based so they probably would have found a place to cause havoc anyway, but still it would have been a step in the right direction.

I don't think Arcanum Discussion was changed, though.

If that's the case, I would suggest changing some of the Latin letters in the forum titles to seemingly identical equivalents from the Cyrillic alphabet (for example, changing "i" into "і" or "o" into "о"). The letters are indistinguishable for us and so would be the end results compared to what we have at the moment, but bots shouldn't be able to recognise the words anymore.

This spambot FREAKS who targeted everything that were labeled with 'Discussion', was in hints and tips as well.

Yeah, I thought I remembered it there until someone said it was just the 'Discussion' forums. In that case, it must've just targeted forums with over a certain amount of topics/posts.

I actually noticed it a couple of weeks ago, but didn't really say anything as I assumed it was someone with access to the admin panel having too much free time.
