Don't flatter yourself. If it were to be an actual challenge only Dark Elf would have a custom avatar.

Sounds like someone's a bit keen to get a custom avatar.

I agree with Yuki, custom avatars are flattering.

I don't know, it took me almost 6 years. Then again, I'm more of a lurker really.

I gotta disagree with you there, since you seem to be implying that it's somehow easier now than it used to be, which is bullshit. If anything, it's more of a challenge to remain an active part of a dwindling online community devoted primarily to a long-dead computer game. If letting most of the active members have a custom avatar threatens your elitist superiority complex, maybe you should go start your own forum where only you are allowed to have one. Honestly, I'm a little surprised that this many members stayed on after you got admin status and started swinging your dick around.

I agree with Japes, it definitely is a challenge to swing your dick around with the dwindling female population here.

Well. About my shitty English. You can say all you want about it. But. It is a heck of an improvement than what it used to be. Besides, as you well know, English is my third language. So...

PS: IF only Google Translate stop fucking it up sometimes.

Edit: You can always fix my grammar and stuff in the RPG sector if you want to.

Edit1: I was more thinking about an avatar about being Dutch, you know. (Frau Antje)

Edit2: Could someone tell me about the Avatar of Yuki and Philes? I always have thought Yuki as someone very innocent.

That's the part of you that the rest of you should listen to. Always.

I feel like Frederick Frankenstein would be a fitting avatar for Philes, though we could always resurrect his supergay sig pic and convert it to avatar form.

You have no say in the matter concerning your avatar. Also you must not know Yuki very well. She's a maniac, maniac on the floor.

Give this man an avvie! Also, I hadn't realized you'd hit 2021 at this point. One of my favorite Adult Swim programs.

I believe I brought up his avatar about one thousand posts ago. then it got hijacked, derailed and I suddenly had one.

That's very true, but you got a pretty nice avatar out of it.

For Grakelin, I think a Richard Dean Anderson one would be appropriate, but perhaps that's from growing accustomed to RDA's face whenever Grakelin posts.

However, a slogan to go with it might be more difficult, though that's possibly due to Grakelin's odor being so subtle it's overwhelmed by nearby smells.

Yes, yes, all good points. It's difficult to contribute without ample source material, of which there has been less and less.

Philes: if not for your breasts, why do you think I proposed it?

I don't recall many of the long time forumers still active since I've been here getting custom avatars before 2000 posts in the first place. If that's the case, and a regular's personality can be well defined at 1000, I'm not sure what raising the bar will do - especially for the reasons Japes had mentioned.

From what I've seen of the forum's history as maintained in the server containing it, it's indeed a less interesting place now than it was even 6 years ago, and most assuredly less than it was before then. There's no reason not to give those willing to post on at least 1000 separate occasions in this time an avatar.

Especially philes, who's been here only 6 months less than I have, and has posted nearly 1/6th as much as me. That's more quality than quantity, I'd think - and I too think he should have the Frederick Frankenstein avatar. For one? It suits him, and for another? He's a doctor.

Challenge for DarkFool:
1) Make a new HWLFP alias.
2) Make 1,000 posts.
3) Try and wrangle a custom avatar without actually asking for one.

*polite cough*

At this point I'd like to call attention to myself by agreeing with what everyone has said so far.

I am in no way suggesting an avatar for myself, because that would be wrong, especially not a cool one of a many-armed hindu god.

So yeah, I agree with everyone.

I like the Borat avy though, but I thought that the cave man from the movie Battle Earth or something was to become my avy?

Just an avatar idea. Why? That is because I am from the Netherlands. Yes. The country, where almost everything is legal.

[1] Here's a vote against Arthgon getting a custom.

[2] Philes. Frederick Frankenstein is quite fitting, yes.

Forgetting about that for a moment, there is something I simply can't not share. For reasons not fully comprehended by yours truly, whenever Philes posts I picture Dr Zalost from 'Courage the Cowardly Dog' in my head. Therefore, that's what I propose as an avie.

Image

The title: I'll refer to Philes' well known successes at beating the crap out of Arcanum and propose Unfinisher Extraordinaire.

[3] As for Yuki, she probably hoped I forgot but o-hoho-ho, no. Swedish Meatball for the win.

Image

Alternatively, one of these.

As fitting as I think the Borat avatar would be, I also have to vote no, since Arthgon still hasn't managed to wrap his brain around the basic customs and courtesies of the avatar system. I'm also irritated by the fact that he has been a member here for over four years and is still using a translator. If you want to be part of an English-speaking community, LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH.

Moving on.

Still on the table are Wobbler, Philes, wayne, Yuki, Grakelin and ytzk.

If we're voting, I vote twice for the Borat avatar for Arthgon - once in my name, and once in ytzk's.

Seriously though, that is nothing short of absolutely brilliant; now that it's been suggested and is in my head, I'm honestly almost offended by the fact that that's not his avatar every time I actually read one of his posts.
