Right the rape videos! I assumed that you referring to the ones I most recently posted which is why I was so confused. I was thinking the rear ending you went through may have left more mental scars than you were letting on if you found the Harry Enfield video about women drivers "traumatic".
First of all I was being ironic, I don't genuinely find rape hilarious. I would have thought that was fairly obvious but I guess I must project the air of a rapist. Many comedians make jokes about rape all the time - but I guess they're probably not your sort of comedian.
Secondly while the subject matter of the videos isn't "hilarious" in and of itself, I find the notion that the government has to make videos like that a bit ludicrous. The video I posted isn't going to prevent a young adult from abusing women, likewise the video you posted of the woman being too haphazard to clean up after herself isn't going to make someone who's naturally lazy more cautious. The idea that a government believes it can have such an effect on its people is completely farcical.
Lastly I think they're also ridiculous as it portrays teen boys very negatively, which given how effective I believe the videos to be (not at all) is a very bad thing to do. All these videos do is fuel paranoia that all young men do is wait to predate on young women, which is obviously not the case. I posted the videos to provide food for thought and because of the almost satirical nature in which they portray modern British youth, which might be more funny if the videos hadn't been made in earnest; and I would have thought humour which is dark and challenges you to think would have a place on this forum.

Also thanks for the re-posting of the video, that was actually a laugh riot compared to what I said was a laugh riot before when I was being sarcastic; I would have thought I wouldn't have to explain that I was being sarcastic there either, but you never know.
