Im still having problems installing the demo from cgw june issue. I tried contacting ssi but they wouldnt help me. Go figure that. Nice PR.

Here is the message I sent them:
I am trying to install the Arcanum preview from June CGW and
have tried the fix you have on the Arcanum page. That didn't work.
It said to remove the underscore in the destination file and there
was no underscore. I tried removing the space that was there to no avail.

The error I get pops up with 3 minutes left to install the files, it
says: Error 1309. Error reading from file
:grin:ARCANUMSieraArcanumPreviewArcanum.exe. Verify the file exists
and that you can access it.
Can anyone help?

Thank you for your time.

I am sorry that no-one seems to be able answer you question and i dont know either, all i can say is that you should keep looking here for a reply as Calis has been in touch with some of the guys at troika and they said they would visit these boards from time to time so if they do you may get an official reply from them

The path on the CD is

ArcanumSIERRAARCANUM_PREVIEW (underscore)

After copying everything to your HD, the path should be renamed to

ArcanumSIERRAARCANUM PREVIEW (space)

It should NOT be

ArcanumSIERRAARCANUMPREVIEW (nothin')

I know, the "fix" says "Delete the underscore." That's not entirely correct. The actual fix is "Replace the underscore with a space."

Hope this helps.

I assume you did verify that the file exists and that you can access it?
