Arcanum honestly does deserve a sequel. The setting alone holds plenty of possibilities; fixing the gameplay and combat is all that needs to be done. That said, I'm just starving for a new, good RPG - KoToR sure as hell didn't live up to my expectations.

Word to KOTOR and it would be cool if it were A2. What about a game where what you did afected the world (like Fable to the 8th power) that casts you as a god in a mortals form. Something that could last for eons (ingame.) where your choices would affect what races become dominant, how they evolve, what happens when they go to war etc. With you being able to influence fate or flood the earth if it displeased you (only after becoming the chief god)

Arcanum 2 would be totally great , with better graphic , more things , better multiplayer , But the atmosphere and the game spirit would be the same. By the way have anyone played the re-release of arcanum?

I found this wicked looking hammer in my friend's basement, and I bought it off him for 20 dollars. Any way, it weighs about 25 pounds (the head), and I can lift about 500 pounds off the ground for fifteen seconds...Yeah just show the kid over to me.

What the fuck? The whole lot of you are so fucking lame! What the hell is all this guillotine and hammers and lynching? Fuckit, I remember when gravedigging like this led to flaming which left the offender wishing he had never even touched his fucking keyboard. Then you fuckheads show up and make it all fun and fucking games. Is it possible to suck any harder? I mean, at least Van Stray is funny once in a while. You just do the same old lame fucking jokes over and over and over and fucking over again. What the hell is wrong with you people?

Yes, I want to know what the re-release is.

Vyenna, go get them, I've wondered for quite some time now whether anyone else thought the usage of boxes and guillotines and whatever became boring around the second time it was used (I didn't see a point in it the first time, but that was because I didn't understand it, not because it was necessarily boring).

Ok , the re-release was released for about one and a ½ years ago , that include a slightly better graphic , like you can now see if your character wears a helm or tophat or anything on the head , and other "nasty" things

on ebay: "I am selling a brand-new, factory-sealed XPlosiv-brand set, which is an authorized re-release from Empire Interactive in a DVD-style case, with printable manuals on CD. The packaging is different from the stock picture shown, but the game code is the same final release. Arcanum works great in XP"

So the code hasn't been changed at all?

Then it hasn't really changed.
