I highly dislike bloody cowards. They should have send him back to the sinking ship and let him go down with the ship like all the other rats.

Situations like that are rough, and sitting at your computer saying "I'd have done differently!" is pretty much bullshit.

I'm not saying he isn't an inept failure and that there aren't consequences he deserves, but at least his contingency plan worked; the captain is very much alive.

On a side note, I'd appreciate, just once, for some honesty. "I freaked out and just had to get out of there." It would be refreshing!

Rats are the first to leave a sinking ship.

I always thought life boats were the first to abandon ship.

Waiting 75 minutes to evacuate the ship was a bad idea. Saying "I'd have done differently!" may be bullshit until you take into consideration that anyone piloting a ship worth 450 million was trained to do it.

Calling the people who died on that ship rats is bullshit.

Agreed. People are at liberty to say whatever they want on the Internet in spite of the reality. Drog is a fine example.

Although tradition dictates that the captain is the last to leave his ship, it's not a written law as far as I know. Besides, an honourable gesture like that doesn't have much of an appeal to the modern world.

The recent flow of Drog-hate calls to mind the image of a man slowly cannibalizing his own brain.

That makes me think of one of the final scenes of Hannibal, wherein Ray Liotta is lobotomized and eats his own brain.

Edit: typo

That reminds me of Goodfellas, because it starred Ray Liotta.

...which takes us back to the beginning as both Ray Liotta'a character in "Goodfellas" and Costa Concordia's captain are Italians whose actions lead to death of some people.

That makes me think of the characters "Mario" and "Luigi" from the 1985 Nintendo game "Super Mario Bros".

I had ham for lunch...and eggs for brunch. Neither were green.

Which is the opposite color of the beer I had at dinner, which was red; Harpoon Leviathan Quad. However, combining red and green together will net you brown.

The opposite colour to red is cyan.

Sure, if you run on a fancy new HSV color wheel as opposed to Goethe's traditional color wheel, like I used.

I reckon these semi-sentient spambots are actually fully-sentient third-world wage-slaves doing the job of spambots.

I almost feel sorry for them, but then I don't.
