Well actually, the complete opposite of that - a crazed spree killer murdered 12 people during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Denver saying that he was the Joker; all in all some pretty sick shit. I guess I never understand killers such as this, I know people with antisocial personality disorder are supposed to have a reckless disregard for their own safety normally and take pleasure in the suffering of others - but still you'd imagine someone like that would at least try to keep a low key to some extent to get more and longer lasting enjoyment out of the horrible things they do. I don't know how anyone can get anything out of killing a whole load of people at once, it seems so impersonal and senseless.

I was just chatting with a buddy of mine at a BBQ who has his permit and completed some gun safety courses a couple of years ago. His instructor said that he wanted his pupils to be trained to the level where if ever they were in a crowded theatre, they could draw and tag an aggressor without harming any innocents. This scenario seemed far-fetched a couple of years ago.
