In the following list you'll find everything you need to create your own Arcanum website.

Sierra and Troika Games welcomes members of the gaming community to include pictures, screenshots, hints, or other Arcanum related information on their personal websites. If you include such information on your site, we ask you include these simple elements in your HTML. We've designed these elements to be as non-intrusive as possible while still making the lawyers happy.

  1. Sierra Entertainment, Inc. Copyright META Tag
The purpose of a META tag is to describe the content on the page to search engines and other databases. The inclusion of a META tag will not effect the appearance of the page in the browser -- it simply acts to describe the nature and ownership of copyrights.

To insert the proper META tag, include the following in between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags.

<META NAME="copyright" CONTENT="Copyright 2000 Sierra Entertainment, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Arcanum is a registered trademark of Sierra Entertainment, Inc.">
For designers using visual design tools (WYSIWYG editors), consult your manual or help section for instructions on how to add META tags to your pages.

  2. Arcanum Link
Please the include the following 88 pixel x 31 pixel banner anywhere on the front page of your website. This is a simple banner that links back to the official website. To insert the banner, add this line of HTML code anywhere in the source code of your home page.

    <a href="http://arcanum1.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.sierrastudios.com/games/arcanum/images/arcanum-88x31-ban.gif" width=88 height=31 alt="" border="0"></a>

Here is what the animated GIF banner will look like.

  3. Sierra Entertainment, Inc. Copyright Line
Please include following text somewhere on the site's front page:

©1999, 2000, <a href="http://www.sierra.com" target="_blank">Sierra Entertainment, Inc.</a>, Inc. All rights reserved. Arcanum is a registered trademark of Sierra Entertainment, Inc.

This text can be formatted to fit your page and should be placed in a way as to not disrupt your page design. The text may be set as small as possible as to be still legible on most displays (i.e. <font size="1">).
