CD problem

I tried installing arcanum on adifferent computer after years of shelving the disks. and I was shocked that it doesnt work, it starts the installation but when it reaches the end it just stops installing and freezes at that point.
and to make the matters worse, there is no shop in my region that sells it.
and for aprivate reason I CANT ORDER IT FROM THE NET WHAT SHOULD i do? :-(

 

What's the operating system and make of the machine you're attempting to install on?

Are you logged onto that machine with an account that has administrator rights?

I would say try and figure out a way to buy it online. That's really about your only option. Most shops don't carry it anymore. Try Good Old Games. There's a link in the General Discussion.

 

Im using windows vista, but it seems that the problem stems from the cd
and yes Im an administrator.
any help?

 

ok, after some cheking I fount out that the second cd files wre corrupted so any help?

Philes got it. Buy it from GoG. It's $5. We don't approve/support/like to hear of illegal acquisitions of this game, so mentioning them wouldn't be wise.
