I'm dealing with that now, diplomacy isn't like war you can't make first strikes, its a waiting game.

He keeps pounding me the jerk! He destroyed a second army of mine with ease and plunged me back into anarchy! I fired to CM's at him and destroyed 16 infra, more out of frustration than anything useful.

His alliance will claim he's a rogue and no reparitions will be paid, which is about $200k already! Your doing a great job with the diplomacy, but this guy doesn't seem to listen to anyone. Hopefully I'll still have a country when reinforcements finally arrive. :(

    Whats his strength?

If diplomacy fails Vorakia may march to war.

I'm at war with this moron:
    http://www.cybernations.net/nation_dril ... n_ID=19635

    His strength is: 2,045.317

...and he keeps kicking my ass! *adam sandler voice*

I'm on my third army in two days and I cant buy CM's anymore from all the tech loss. Anyone want to join in, if you're GC check in through the proper thread, otherwise be my guest.

Hey, if anyone could be so kind as to send me an in-game test PM: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_dril ... n_ID=44173

I'm slightly concerned my messaging system has collapsed -- half the stuff I send never turn up in my out-box, and hardly anything shows in my in-box.

    Please?

Check your sent messages box if you're looking for battle reports, otherwise cut/paste from the battle screen (same as me). meh.

Weeee! It went through! Thanks Maximus - anything I can do for you, consider it done. Freebie troops? Too weak yet to intervene directly, sadly.

Yeah, I have been copying after-battle reports lately just because the battle PMs never turn up anymore.

    Check this out, guys;
I was attacked by Ho_Chi_Minh, of the red team.

"Your population density of 7.48 population per mile is at a good level at this time. The Urwaldland military of -111 soldiers is extremely weak. A large portion of your population is rioting as a result of your lack of forces. The infrastructure of Urwaldland is adequate at the time with a level of 284.42."
I can't attack him at all. His reason for war is my nation's national religion. I'll post this on the GC forums.

Yep, those negative soldiers are a little weak.... :-?

Is it always this violent on CN, or is there something brewing in the background?

I personally find the diplomacy side more interesting than war. I tend to find negotiation a lot more fun than trying to master a mathematical equation in a text based game.

I agree, actually. It is fun to conduct diplomacy, what with all the differing viewpoints and personalities involved. And you get such fine quotable stuff:
When it comes to war, I think I'm about the right size to get some fun out of it. Too weak to trade in nukes, strong enough to scratch and bite for a while. Nothing much changes, but it keeps the newbies interested long enough to get in on the other aspects of the game.

I've been at war non-stop, and I dont even start them. They must be intimidated by my fine stout beard.

My diplomacy goes something like this:
    Then they say:
Then I get mad and attack them until they abandon their country. After about a week I switch back to DEFCON 5 for 10-15 minutes and wait for the next idiot. Kind of like fishing, but more action.

I'd try diplomacy, but they never give me a chance. :/

Fusk... Just when I was about to raid a particularly obnoxious nation.

Though once implemented, this should make the wars plenty hot and spicy.

Or a bloody mess! With aircraft coming out at the same time, I predict large-scale military operations across the board, just to test out the new toys and style of battle system.

Admin's trying to start another great war.
