    the manual says it should be +2 yet in game I've only gotten +1... is the manual wrong? was this patched? did UAP change it? etc? is the maximum total number of non-dog followers 6? or is it 7?

    The manual is incorrect on the matter. Expert persuasion increases the maximum number of those followers that count toward the cap by 1, to a maximum of 6. Neither the official patch nor the UAP change this.

    The manual has many errors, as it was compiled way before the game was finished.
