Game crashing when I take Swyft to Tarant

Is there some way I can get around this? I've done it a few times now and it crashes every single time. It seems to be fine up until point where the text comes up and then she leaves and then, it crashes.

As for the game crashing, is there anything else that makes your play-through act screwy, or is it just getting Swyft to Tarant?

Also, are you playing a patched game? I know that, pre patch, every time I tried to use a boat, my game would crash. That, and every time I walked past the Ring of Brodgar the whole game would freeze.

 

I have the last official patch and the lvl 127 patch, but up until this point everything worked fine.
