:) I must admit I'd love to see the exploding shoes in action. The boots of the Dark Troll are quite good but exploding boots .....

I'm sure that guy with the shoe fetish would be extremely excited.

This guy, whoever he is, is talking complete crap. He must have had his eyes shut when investigating Harrow.

Harrow does indeed have a script attached and it does scale for Dwarves.
For most races Harrow will do 4-18 damage and 3-12 fatigue.
For Elves it scales (getting worse).
For Dwarves it scales (getting better).

However even with an angelic dwarf it's still only a good weapon (rather than great).

I've thought a bit about teh exploding shoes, and there are 2 ways I can think of to make a schematic for them. First, (the hard but thorough way) you can go make a new schematic and boots prototype and then hex edit them to your needs. OR, (the easier way) hijack an existing but relatively useless schematic (by going to schematic.mes) and change it to make the boots. Either way you would have to make the boots prototype though...

Well, considering I want to make a completely new item and schematic, I'd need to do the first method you mentioned. I don't feel like writing over an old schematic just so I can have my exploding shoes, as easy as that would be. Regardless of how "useless" some people may see certain schematics, I always end up needing one of them at some time.

Like I wouldn't. HAW! Anyway, yeah, look forward to my Arcanum Exploding Shoes! I just realized something; I don't remember actually seeing a time-bomb schematic in the game.

I seem to recall seeing one in the schematic.mes.

Yes it exists and it looks like a Warner Bros Acme Time Bomb (wrapped up with a bow).

Uhh, Tongs - I think he was talking about the schematic and not the bomb itself.

    Let me try that again:

Yes, the schematic exists as a prototype.

    Separate sentence:
It looks like a Warner Bros Acme Time Bomb (wrapped up with a bow).
I went off on a bit of a tangent about the ribbon box and how I thought it was a bit stupid (which I deleted as it was a rant).

What do you think inspired my "candygram" idea?

Watching Blazing Saddles while beating a Spanish clown with a tartan sock filled with enraged ferrets and then...I'll stop there.
    (Well you did ask).
