what the heck? i lost 80 alignment just for stepping into the boil being attacked by 3bandits and returning fire and killing them? is this some sorta bug? maybe i should just character edit my alignment back this doesnt make much sense at all.... and unforunately i saved in multiple slots after this happened because i didnt notice for quite a while ...

save game edit solution... i open it up and the editor still says i have 75good alignment but...ingame it says 10evil alignment! awfully weird... maybe one of these items i picked up off of them causes this change simply by sitting in inventory?

item name was moordinhal poison charm... thats weird maybe the description should say something about being an evil item if this isn't an error?

It should but it doesn't. Either get rid of the charm or welcome to the dark side. :p

Only the Ashbury Dark Helm is actually permanent so far as I am aware.

Nope, any of them. Even those you buy off Wise Women.

Oh maybe I'm not going crazy after all. I just picked up a Dark Helm last night and tried it on and now I can't ride the subway in Tarant anymore 'cause they say I'm too.....magickally inclined. On top of that my alignment also plummeted. What I was confused about is that these effects seem to be permanent. I dropped the helm and walked off and I'm still about 80% magick apptitude and -95 alignment. Is this something that just has to gradually wear off or is this a bug or what?

    Carefull of the gravedigging...

The quickest way to up your alignment is to give coins to the beggers.

Once I gravedug a 2 year old thread (HAHAHA) . Yes , give coins to the beggars is a quick way but....10 coins each time is going to ruine him. Be nice and ask for rumors also works i've figure out.

Today I saw a 6 year old gravedigging (not here though).

He was certainly a high-skilled necromancer.

I apologise for digging of shit from grave (6 days) and would say that's very helpful for evil mage at the beginnig of game.

Frankly, I don't think we've ever banned anyone on account of gravedigging, save those spare instances where the perpetrator did it solely to provoke (and typically was such an asshole they'd earned the ban anyway). Then again, the only admin to be so compulsive about it was Jarinor, and he's special.

Concerning a photograph, very special. People, as I saw, were mostly banned for "deviant behaviour", such as sex_boy or He-Whose-Name-Is-Censored.

Probably he have done the action mentioned in his nickname for the first time (which is very doubtful, since he was a 13-years old flooder of Internet :/ ) and was addicted by this rather than HoL.
